Because AAHW was able to detect anomalous phenomena that were connected to the world where J. was found. When the organization tried her abilities and technologies, she was given the task of killing Hank. However, she came up with a very unethical plan: to lure Hank into a trap by losing the staff of one of the bases because of Hank.
